No other cosmeceutical product line on the market today is as effective and transformative as the PepFactor Treatment and Care product line
What is a Growth Factor?
Growth Factors are proteins that bind to receptors on the cell surface, with the primary result of activating cellular proliferation and/or differentiation. This activation creates key signalling between cells.
They are responsible for:
Chemical messengers between cells.
Turns a variety of cellular activities on and off.
Involved in cell division, new cell and blood vessel growth, collagen and elastin production.
Repairs a damaged cell to recruit other cells to assist in the repair OR kill the damaged cell.
Key roles of Growth Factors.
Growth Factors, Cytokines, Interleukins, Fibroblasts and Interferons have shown to play a key role in:
- Minimizing scarring.
- Reducing inflammation and redness of skin trauma.
- Collagen and elastin production.
- Peptide chemical messages between cells.
- Activating immune cells, such as natural killer cells and macrophages.
- Increasing cellular proliferation and differentiation.
- Promoting blood vessel formation (Angiogenesis).
- Creating homeostasis in the cell community which is optimum conditions for healthy cells.
Collagen is the protein that gives our skin structure and strength. Our skin is made up of almost 80% collagen and as we age we lose that collagen and the firmness of our skin deteriorates.
Helping increase production of hyaluronan (also called hyaluronic acid).
Elastin is what gives our skin its resilience. As we age the elasticity diminishes, especially in our faces. With the loss of elastin and collagen, the skin will naturally become thinner and more fragile.
The skin, being the largest organ in the body, is constantly in a state of renewing skin cells as the dead ones shed. As we start to age this process causes the skin to thin and lose moisture.
A localized physical condition in which part of the body becomes reddened, swollen, hot, and often painful, especially as a reaction to injury or medical procedures.
Benefits of Growth Factors.
Growth Factors aid in repairing the look of damaged skin and improve it’s elasticity and resilience.
Benefits also include:
Speeds up recovery after clinical procedures.
Helps stimulate the skin’s own renewal mechanism by increasing hydration.
Reduces fine lines, wrinkles, sun/age spots, hyper-pigmentation, and crows feet.
Helps with oxidative stress, skin aging, enlarged pores, loss of elasticity and thinning of the facial skin.
Helps facilitate the return of youthful, healthy hair cycle and restores the regeneration of hair follicles to re-grow hair.
Helps facilitate the growth and health of eyelashes and diminishes dark circles and crows feet around the eye.
Increases the number of fibroblasts (cells that produce collagen) and keratinocytes (top layer of skin).
Growth factors are involved in the regulation of hair morphogenesis and cycle hair growth. FGFs promoted hair growth by inducing the anagen phase of hair growth cycle. Specifically, the histomorphometric analysis data indicates that topical application of FGFs induced an earlier anagen phase and prolonged the mature anagen phase.
PepFactor naturally stimulates your body’s own collagen, which in turn improves hair and scalp health and assist with the regeneration of hair.

- Cleanse the area to be treated thoroughly with anti bacterial cleanser.
- This device is used to create micro-channels in the scalp through using tiny needles to create micro-channels within the epidermis and dermis.
- These micro-injuries trigger a natural wound healing response increasing the production and distribution of collagen and elastin.
- The micro needling process prepares the scalp for the infusion of the PepFactor BFGF and Copper peptide cocktail.
Skin Needling does not cause tissue destruction using the micro-needling technique. Instead, the body begins the healing response right away.
The small channels then close quickly, and the entire procedure is minimally invasive to the epidermis layer.
Less aggressive than other treatment methods, collagen production and healing is significantly quicker.
While collagen production takes time, clients report more immediate results and an increased gradual improvement faster than other
Skin Needling machines are significantly different from other skin needling devices. Manual needle rollers do not have as precise treatment patterns, which leads to inconsistent results on the skin.
Lasers rely on heat to break up the collagen and remodel the pigments, which can cause clients some unwanted side effects. Micro needling machines remove heat from the entire treatment which creates a safer treatment which is more comfortable for customers, with fewer side effects and significantly less downtime.
Other skin rejuvenating devices often use methods that remove the healthy layer of top skin. Universal Medical Aesthetics’ Skin Needling machines do not attack the outer surface layer which then maximises the treatment results.
Massage the PepFactor Cocktail into the scalp on the areas treated with the Micro needling pen. PepFactor is our unique, Authentic Basic Fibroblast Growth Factor which is combined with Copper Peptide GHK-Cu.
GHK-Cu has been shown to assist with scalp rejuvenation in a number of ways. Topical applications of GHK-Cu to the scalp has been shown to stimulate skin rejuvenation that may lead to hair proliferation. Copper Peptides have also been proven to improve the results of hair transplants.
PepFactor may assist with scalp health and hair regrowth.
Science has proven that Low-level laser therapy can be used in both men and women for scalp and skin rejuvination.
Studies show that cold laser can regrow your hair on the top of your head/crown and along the forehead hairline
Research proves that LLLT has no side effects, is painless, and safe.
Improvement is reported after 12 to 26 weeks of use, with reduced hair fall and noticeable hair growth.
