Question & Answers

How often do people get their roots done?
every 4 to 6 weeks
Most people do retouch roots every 4 to 6 weeks, and it’s a good rule of thumb to make sure you don’t go more than 8 weeks between sessions. This is because you want to make sure that your roots don’t get any longer than an inch, and according to All Things Hair, hair grows about half an inch every month

Why does my grey hair come back so fast after dying it?
The color of your natural hair is determined by the hair follicle beneath the skin and things that are going on inside of your body and/or genetics. It may appear that your hair is going gray faster due to contrast between the artificial pigment and the natural pigment or lack of natural pigment.

How often should I get grey roots dyed?
If your hair grows at the average rate or more, you’ll probably find your natural colored roots are about an inch or so in length every 6-8 weeks. This means you’ll want to address your roots every 4 weeks before doing a full color every 6-8 weeks

How often should you get foil redone?
Foil highlights should be done every 6-8 weeks depending on how much contrast there is between your highlights and your natural color. Foils are generally placed close to the scalp so you’ll need to come regularly to keep it looking fresh. How you wear your hair can also be a factor. Balayage can go 3 months.

What does regrowth mean in hairdressing?
Regrowth colour refreshes the roots of your full-head colour so you can always maintain a seamless shade. every 3-6weeks

How to make gray roots less noticeable?
Use a dedicated root touch-up spray, add in light highlights to help blend the grays with the rest of your hair, or embrace a dark, smoky silver shade that encompasses the best of both worlds. Ultimately, gray coverage isn’t one-size-fits-all—it’s all about finding the solution that works for you.
